We were so excited to be invited to Axis Alley at Newport on the Levee! You know I am always looking for fun things to do with the fam and we had never paid this place a visit and I am SUPER excited we went because it was AWESOME!
If you are going just to Axis Alley you can park in the garage on Level P and it will take you right out to the level of Axis Alley or there is valet right in front of the entrance as well. I am old school and use to go to the bowling alley all the time. When I walked in, I was so impressed because it is trendy, has a great vibe and extremely clean. You check in at the front desk and they program in your names and can automatically program in the electronic bumpers to go up for the kids in your party when it is their turn to bowl. They also have a Bowling Slide for the littles which allows them to place their bowl at the top and roll it down the slide onto the lane.
They have a full bar next to their 16 State of the Art lanes where you can grab a drink or order from their full menu. They also have a sever that comes to your lane and will bring your food and drinks directly to you.
This was another nice area that you can hang out in after you bowl and play some pool, darts or to grab a drink.
This was one of my favorite areas to explore. They have a VIP area which you can rent out for parties or any event you have coming up. This would be great for a kid’s birthday party, a couples night or even your next corporate event. They even offer team building options. They have bachelorette and bachelor packages so you can celebrate your rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or parties there! How fun would that be?! I looked over the event packages and they have SO many options to choose from. This is such a fun way to celebrate and unique that it will have everyone talking well after your party is over! The VIP room is set up in a completely different room from the other lanes so it is totally private and is also off the room that has the pool tables so you could enjoy that area as well.
The FOOD! OH MY the FOOD! We definitely worked up an appetite while bowling and were ready to grub and I have to admit I wasn’t expecting much, it is a bowling alley after all. Our old bowling alley served beer, chips and pretzels! This was totally different. My husband and I were both so impressed with the menu selection. They had gourmet pizzas and burgers. appetizers, sandwiches and a great list of items for the kids to choose from. I got my burger without a bun, but their buns are brought in fresh every day and their burgers are HUGE! They are cooked to order as well. You can choose between fries and tater tots and although I am a fry girl, those tater tots were the BOMB! Our sever recommended we try them and they did not disappoint. My husband and I both ordered burgers and my kids tried the chicken tenders, burger sliders and fried mac-n-cheese bites. The chicken tenders were crispy and tender and the mac-n-cheese bites were to die for. They are only offered on the kids menu so I would definitely recommend asking for them as an app to try because they were that good!

- Teachers, staff and school employees will receive 50 percent off bowling and 20 percent off food and soft beverages at Axis alley when guests show proof of employment. It is available any time this week! The discount is off full retail price and cannot be combined with any other promotion.
- Kids Summer Bowling: $2 Game of bowling and $2 shoe rental. M-F 11am-4pm ALL SUMMER LONG! Great for a rainy day or your next playdate!
- Lunch and Bowl: M-F 11am-4, Free game of bowling and shoes with the purchase of a lunch entree.
- Tuesdays: $2 Bowling, $2 show rental
- Wednesday: All you can bowl for $10, including shoes starting at 7pm!
- Happy Hour: M-F 4pm-7pm. $2 domestic drinks, $3 well drinks, $4 house wine
- Thursdays: Happy Hour All Night 4pm-close and a FREE game of bowling with a college ID.
Overall, I was very impressed with Axis Alley and cannot wait to take the kids back this summer for the Summer Bowling!!
