This kid absolutely LOVED his Pied Piper Music Together Classes and is SO sad they are over! We played out the CD we got at the beginning of class…. it was on continuous in the car and he eventually knew what song came next! That is how much we listened to it!!
I loved Miss Sheri’s approach to music class. She always had different musical instruments for the kids to try. Some songs we danced around the room, some the kids picked what we did, and some they played on our laps as we bounced them around. She taught the kids to clean up the instruments when they were done and it really helped Bennett learn to sit still in a “classroom” environment. Don’t get me wrong, there was plenty of movement, but he was much better sitting for an entire song after a few classes than he was on day one. Miss Sheri always gave great ideas to the parents as well on how to involve music in the life of your child and why it is so important.
Registration is open now if this is something you are interested for your child. I think what I like about mommy and me classes most is it forces me to have great bonding time with my kid, uninterrupted so I can focus just on HIM!
