O.k. So I have been having this WONDERFUL woman (who is a professional painter) paint my house. We have been here almost a year (can’t believe that) and we haven’t done anything to the house. All the colors were neutral and if you know me, you know that I am loud and crazy so I need colors in my house to match that or I get bored! So I wanted a funky yellow to go with the gray she just painted and she had recommended running the gray onto a few of the kitchen walls and I thought….the kitchen is a separate room, why would you do that??
Well, turns out, she was right. It was too much yellow and just didn’t flow. Also, as you can see, the yellow is really loud so now it will just be an accent color in the room! Lesson learned, listen to your painter!
