O.k. so I know your due date is only a “guess date” and you can go well past your actual due date, but come on! I am big, huge, uncomfortable, not sleeping, peeing every 5 minutes, complete loss of energy… basically, I am ready for this little guy to be here!! Although I don’t want to complain because we are very blessed to have not had to go through IVF this time and just getting preggers on our own with no issue, if you have ever been pregnant you KNOW how you feel in the last few weeks so I rest my case!! :)
All in all, we are ready to go: hospital bags are packed, baby clothes, hats, socks, bibs, burp cloths have been washed, pacis, toys etc. have been sterilized/ sanitized! All we need is our little one.. and a name (but that is a whole other issue)! Yes, I am still taking name suggestions.. please help!
Although my nerves are taking over, you know me, I am such a planner and you just can’t plan enough for a newborn. I am getting really excited to hold a newborn again. My biggest challenge, I think, will be to not feel guilty that I have to stretch my time between two kids. I really want to just be in the moment with each of them and love them both the best I can (o.k. all you moms of multiples- quit laughing at me- try and remember how you felt before your second one came)! I really am torn, but very excited for Cody to have a lil bro to hang with and create lasting memories! We will very soon be a family of 4!!
Lastly, I wanted to send a HUGE shout out to my sis who did some maternity photos for me. Sara, you are SO talented and such an amazing artist! Thank you for getting our journey on film! Here are just a few of my favs.. I LOVED THEM ALL!!
Didn’t she do such a great job! There were 182 photos total and there were SO many good ones! I did put all of my favs into a photo book and just got that finished this weekend! Thanks sis!!!

Beautiful pics! Really gorgous family you have there. Sara is very talented… you are so lucky to have a sister that does this… coming from a person who has spent a small fourtune on pictures! :)
12 DAYS!!!!! Where has the summer gone!? I feel your pain… I think you remember countless crying phone calls to you in my last two weeks with Austin and I even had a C-section planned a week before he was due!
Can't wait to meet little No name Janzen! That was the most exciting part of coming to see Cody… finding out his name! I will never forget the image I have of you in my head when the nurse wheeling you out of your room with him in your arms and your BIG Smile on your face! Such an exciting time!!!
