Pillsbury Simply Cookies

by Jennie on November 18, 2010

There is an AMAZING sale going on at Krogers right now for the pillsbury simply cookies.  Although I love making my own cookies from scratch (really just so I can control the ingredients), I found these and am almost in love! It saves me some time in the kitchen and the ingredients aren’t too bad! Some include:

  • wheat
  • flour
  • brown sugar
  • water
  • eggs
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • pure vanilla extract
  • all natural semisweet chocolate chips
  • sugar
  • skim milk

There is NO high fructose corn syrup or trans fat/ hydrogenated oil! I think these are a great alternative to the other refrigerated cookies because the ingredients are decent and it still saves you time in the kitchen! To top it off, they are really yummy!

Now is a great time to try them out because Kroger is offer a “If you buy 4 you save $4” and (my kroger so hopefully yours will) they have a coupon (in those little coupon thingys that are located where the product is- sorry I am not a big couponer!) for $1.25 off 2.

Regular Price: $2.73
Sale Price with the buy 4 save $4: $1.49
Coupon: $1.25 off 2

Now I totally suck at math, so bear with me…. I ended buying 4 packages of the cookies, using 2 of the coupons and got all 4 packages for $3.46 which would have regularly cost me  a total of $10.92. That is a $7.46 savings!!! Even if my calculations are wrong, I know I saved a ton and am soooo happy!!! Go out and get yours today!
