You all know that I have been intrigued by ingredients used in food and personal care products over the years. I am always trying to find healthy things for the kids to eat that don’t taste like cardboard LOL! My kids love granola bars and there can actually be a lot of yucky additives and sugar in a tiny little bar. There have been more brands following the “health kick” trend so there are more options than there were when Cody was first-born 9 years ago.
I hadn’t heard of Junkless bars until they approached me a few weeks ago. They are produced by JUNKLESS FOODS Inc. All the bars are made with less than 8 ingredients, are minimally processed, contain no artificial flavors, color or preservatives and are NON-GMO. They currently have 4 flavors: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Strawberry (made with 100% REAL strawberries), and Cinnamon Roll.
We have tried all 4 flavors!
Cinnamon Roll: If you like sweet in your granola bars, this is the one for you. It legit tastes like a cinnamon roll and it is the sweetest out of the 4 flavors. It would definitely satisfy that sweet tooth!
Strawberry: I could not believe how FLAVORFUL this one was. It doesn’t have that generic strawberry flavor, it tastes like you are eating a handful of fresh strawberries. This was one of my favorites.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip: My boys loved this one. It has more of a PB flavor than chocolate chip. I actually like PB, but have never really cared for it in a granola bar or protein bar. If you like PB this one is for you!
Chocolate Chip: There are a lot of bars out there with chocolate chips. Many granola bars have a lot of artificial flavors and a ton of added sugar. This one is not that way. I have made my own bars in the past so my kids are use to not having a lot of that added sugar so they liked these, but if you are going for sweetness, I would get the Cinnamon Roll.
Junkless Granola bars are sold at Kroger stores and are available nationally on Amazon. The bars are also sold in select stores around the country as well.
