I have been going to Bravo here in Mason since we moved. I always try to get something different each time we go because all of their food is AMAZING! I was excited to be asked to attend the VIP Grand Opening of Bravo in Rookwood and once again they did not disappoint!
We started off with the Portobello & Boursin Bruschetta as an appetizer. OMG #mymouthiswatering!!! The next time I go I am ordering this as my meal and maybe a side of mashed potatoes. That would be a perfect meal to me. This dish was so flippin good!! I am not sure the exact ingredients, but I know they layered provolone cheese, caramelized onions, crushed red peppers, tomatoes and portobello mushrooms on a crispy bread. It was so delicious I cannot say enough about this dish… GO GET IT! I went with three other girls for a GNO and even my one friend who doesn’t like onions tried it and liked it! YUM is all I can say!
For my main dish I got the Pasta Fra Diavolo with shrimp. Everyone at our table actually got this, two of us with chicken and two of us with shrimp. This is a dish they are known for and I had never tried it during my other visits. It was to die for as well. If you are a pasta/ cheese lover this one if for you! They smother pasta in a spicy tomato cream sauce and add your protein of choice. I would say it is like a grown up mac and cheese, but it is so much more than that. It was awesome and just as good heated up the next day! They give you such a big portion I was able to make two meals out of it #bonus!
I had their Caesar salad where they make their own croutons and sampled a few of their desserts. I am a big chocolate lover so next time I want to try the Layered Chocolate Cake nom nom! I have to say I loved everything I tried. Bravo is a great date night place or a night out with the family. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out!
