I have been trying to update my house to my taste since we moved in. Of course, most of that is just hanging pictures I already have, painting the walls and things of that nature which is reasonably cheap. We did have to sink some money into our backyard, but we knew that when we bought the house (I know I promised pictures ages ago and I swear I will soon)!!!
One thing that we really want to do is update the kitchen a bit. When we moved in the house, they left their appliances, but they are older models. The fridge doesn’t even have a water/ice maker on the front which I feel makes it seem super ancient to me :) We probably won’t be buying appliances any time soon, unless we can find a super good bargain, but I do pay attention to the refrigerators that I see on commercials or in the magazines. There are several different models, and brands for that matter, and I am not quite sure what would work best for us…..
My parents have the really nice fridge with the pull out freezer on the bottom. I LOVE that the fridge doors open like french doors and you can easily put pizza boxes and other really big food items across the entire shelf, but I don’t really care for the pull out freezer. It isn’t very big and you have to lay everything on top of each other so you are digging for food, similar to a chest deep freeze. The side by sides are nice, but I wish it had the capacity to hold big party trays like the french door style, although I like the lay out of the freezer. Samsung even has a fridge that has a middle pull out drawer with temperature control so you can put pretty much whatever you want in it and change it based on what you need to put in there that day! I saw this adorable video they have out about their newest fridge… you gotta like anything with cute little monkeys!! :)
Out of all the models, nothing particularly jumps out at me so I have NO idea what we will end up going with. What type of fridge do you have? What do you like/ dislike about it?? If you were to buy one now, which brand/ model would you go with?

Our new fridge is the pull out drawer freezer by Samsung. I LOVE IT!! The freezer is on a seperate compressor making it a TRUE DEEP FREEZE!!! Food last longer in it because it is held at a constant zero temperature!! So much better then our old side by side!
