Counting Down to Father’s Day

by Jennie on June 14, 2011

We have been posting some of our Father’s Day ideas! Here are some more things you can do to celebrate the amazing dad in your life! We would love to hear from you too!

  • Celebrate Dads this year with a stretched canvas print from Canvas People. Create ever lasting memories or give a meaningful gift on a tight budget. Save $50 OFF on a custom printed canvas any size and more, or a Free 8×10. Upload your custom design in minutes and receive it in as few as 7 -10 days! I haven’t ordered any canvas prints yet, but I know people who have and LOVE them. This allows you to change your photos up a bit!

  • 6 Free Gifts for Every Dad from Vistaprint! The Products are Free and you just pay for Shipping and Processing! Pretty Cool :) I LOVE vistaprint because they are always offering freebies or almost free goodies!
  • Ebates if offering a TON of DOUBLE cash back on all your favorite companies!! If you are going to buy off the internet you need to check out EBATES FIRST to earn your double cash back! You can find more info about Ebates in our Coupon Queen Section, along with other ways to save cash back on the internet!
  • Get a photo book for the dad in your life! I LOVE these because it allows you to showcase all your favorite books in a cool way and you can tell a story with your photos in any way that you choose! I am not a “scrapbooker” but I love doing photo books and feel like I can create a cool scrapbook for my family with these! Snapfish is offering photo books for only $15!

  • Few other ideas: Cook dad’s favorite meal and serve it to him in bed or go on a picnic, take him fishing, get him gift certs to his favorite golfing place, take him camping (which I think can be such a great bonding experience)!! You can even throw a tent up in the yard and camp out right at home!

You really can do just about anything! Steve wants to just relax that day. He may do golfing in the morning and Cody and I will cook him up a feast. With how busy things have been for us, I can understand him not wanting to do anything! And that is just fine with me!!
