So you can buy your kit for snow paint, but WHY?!! This is super easy to make and the kids love it because it dries to look just like snow!!!

Ingredients
  1. Foam White Shaving Cream
  2. White glue
  3. Colored Construction Paper- I like something dark so the white "snow" shows up (unless you decide to color it)
  4. Food coloring (optional)
  5. A mixing bowl. If using food coloring you will want one per color and I would use plastic. I like reusing my yogurt containers and other containers I can't recycle for projects like this.
  6. Small paintbrush or Q-tips
Instructions
  1. 1: If you'd like your painting to have color then mix a small amount of glue with 1 drop of food coloring in a plastic bowl. I like just keeping it simple with no coloring and bonus... it looks like real snow that way!
  2. 2: Add an equal amount of shaving cream to the glue. If you decided to use color then do this for each color.
  3. 4: Use your paintbrush or Q-tips to paint on your construction paper with the shaving cream!
  4. 5: You will need to let the picture dry.... ALL the way! It took ours overnight to dry completely.
  5. When the picture dries completely, the shaving cream will be PUFFY and it looks just like real snow! SUPER COOL!
Notes
  1. You can add little foam shapes to the top of the paint while still wet like we did pictured above! I am sure glitter would work too!

This looks like fun! I live in Florida so the 2-year-old I nanny has no concept of what snow is but I'm sure she will love this!

This is a great way of bringing the snow to you, regardless of where you live! And so easy too!
