The Beach Mountain 2016-2017 season started on November 25th at The Beach Waterpark! For the first time ever, general admission passes will allow guests to play all day! In addition to snow tubing, Beach Mountain will feature a Play Area, special events, and character appearances that will delight all ages. The Park is available for group outings and birthday parties. Beach Mountain is open on select days from November 25th– March 5, 2017. The 2016-2017 Operating Calendar can be found at The Beach Mountain website, along with the times you can tube each day.
Snow Tubing is a fun and exciting wintertime activity that brings people together and creates amazing memories. It is just like sledding – only it’s faster and more accessible. You can slide down their snowy 400 foot long runs and then ride the magic carpet back up to do it all over again!
My hubby has taken my boys at least once each season since it opened. They were a little scared at first because you slide down FAST, but overall, they loved it. They said the snow was more like ice so it was pretty slick. Perfect for the daredevils in your family! You can connect tubes together by holding onto each others handles, but you can’t sit together in the same tube. After you have tubed to your hearts content, you can warm up with some hot chocolate. Although I know it isn’t Perfect North, it definitely is nice to have something so close if you want to get out of the house and have fun during the winter.
