Add these to your Adventure Bucketlist

by MHSjennie on November 1, 2016

If you follow me on social media you know that I always share pics of the fun places we go around town. Some of these things I get through the blog to try out so I can share my experiences with you all and some we just want to explore for ourselves. I like sharing these pics with you so that it may spark some interest in new places for you to visit with you family. Although I share this on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, I don’t always do a full write up on our local adventures so I wanted to do a recap of a few of our favs over the last few months.

Caesar’s Creek

This was a super cool field trip Cody took with his class. I had never been to this park before and it is gorgeous! They have so much to do here that it would be an awesome place to take the fam and explore. Camping, fossil digging, fishing, boating, hiking and even a beach during the warmer months. We had a great time hiking and digging for fossils while we were there, but I wanted to check out even more that they had to offer. I can’t wait to go back with the entire family.

Renaissance Festival

We first experienced this festival last year and were excited to be invited back again this year. This is such a HUGE festival with tons of food, shows, rides and shopping so there really is something for everyone. My boys have loved the magic shows, Pirate show and the REAL LIVE JOUSTING!

Camping

This was our third year camping with our family and each year we have tried a different spot. This year we went to Hueston Woods and it reminds me a lot of Caesar’s Creek because there is so much to do. Horseback riding, archery, fishing, hiking, and some awesome camp sites. We had a great time and if you haven’t gone camping with your family, add it to your buketlist!! SO. MUCH. FUN!

Blooms and Berries

We use to go to a farm close to us here in Mason, but it closed last year so we tried out Blooms and Berries. This farm has it ALL! Hayrides, a huge pumpkin patch, a baby pumpkin patch, 2 corn mazes, a storybook maze featuring Spookly the Square Pumpkin, playgrounds, games, animals and of course sweet treats! We have had a blast visiting the last two years so if you haven’t tried this farm out, be sure to check it out next fall!

Blooms and Berries

I am always looking for something fun to do with the kiddos so please let me know your favorite places around Cincy and follow me on social media to get other ideas to add to your list!
