A friend of mine has opened up an AMAZING place called The Nest.
The Nest exists to provide a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk men and women, away from the triggers and temptations of life, in order to encourage emotional, mental, physical and spiritual healing by extending grace and hope through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ, offering a chance for health, sobriety and a purposeful life.
You can read, in detail, what they believe and what their hopes are on their website. Just listening to the opening video will bring tears to your eyes!
If you are looking for a local place to volunteer or donate to, this is a great one!!! They are also having an AMAZING fundraiser right here in Mason at The Manor House so if you don’t want to just write a check, you can donate AND have a great night out!! It will include dinner, open bar, dancing, live and silent auction and the Manor House is doing this event for FREE so that 100 percent of the proceeds goes towards The Nest! Way to go Manor House!!!
