It’s BACK! Cincinnati Monster Jam is returning to U.S. Bank Arena on Friday, April 10th and Saturday April 11th! I have yet to take my boys because of how loud it is; I wasn’t quite sure if they would like it or not because of that, but I think they are both ready so I am super excited to go! Steve took me to the Monster Jam show YEARS ago when we first started dating…. 18 years ago! I had SO much fun and that one experience really has stuck with me. I have wanted to go back ever since so now that we can take our boys and go as a family will be surreal!
The 2015 show will feature some of the most popular monster trucks ever assembled to compete at U.S. Bank Arena, including Grave Digger, Max D, Blue Thunder, Monster Mutt Rottweiler, New Earth AuthoritySM (NEA) and Scooby Doo. The monster trucks will perform wheelies, donuts and freestyle and will race an obstacle course. Also featured are decked out Quads and a diabolical track of mass destruction.
Approximately 12 feet tall and 12 feet wide, monster trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster trucks can fly 125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air.
There will be a Party in the Pits on Saturday, April 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. where fans will have the opportunity to get a view of the trucks up-close and meet the drivers of the 10,000-pound behemoth monster trucks. Pit Passes are FREE at participating MetroPCS stores. A ticket for the April 11, 2 p.m. show is required with a Pit Pass for entry.
