Frozen Yogurt Bites

by MHSjennie on February 25, 2014

My kids love yogurt and I am always looking for ways to change-up the normal bowl of yogurt.  I have seen the Frozen yogurt bites all over Pinterest and have been wanting to try them out! They are super easy to make and  they almost look like candy which means mama pulled it off as dessert and my kids gobbled them up :) Gotta love healthy, easy and delicious!

All you need is Yogurt, a ziploc bag, and a cookie sheet.

  1. Line your baking sheet with foil
  2. Pour your yogurt into a ziploc bag.
  3. Snip the end of the bag and squeeze a small amount onto the cookie sheet.
  4. Keep on squeezing until you empty the bag!
  5. Stick in the freezer for an hour and they are ready to eat!

I used the Simple Truth Organic brand yogurt which gives you more bang for your buck! I like to buy plain yogurt because you can flavor it so easily on your own with mashed up fruit. I wasn’t sure how they would freeze with the fruit so we flavored ours with doTERRA Lemon Essential Oil. 1 drop is all you need and you have lemon flavored yogurt bites!

If you would like to make your own yogurt, check out my post on how to make it yourself!  What are your favorite ways to eat yogurt?!
