Workshop Content Details:
We will discuss some of the reasons for starting this dialogue so young and where in the world to start when it comes to initiating this conversation with your toddlers! You will learn about childhood brain development, effective communication skills and techniques, best educational practices for teaching your child, and what it means to be an older sibling! Through multiple role-play scenarios, you will practice utilizing these skills and techniques in an effort to establish a sense of empowerment and increased confidence in your ability to effectively implement the knowledge and skills at home with your family!

Workshop Content Details:
Understanding how talking about sex with your child at such a young age can positively impact your family environment is a key element to this workshop. You gain awareness of normal childhood sexual development, use of proper language, essential parenting and communication skills, and benefits of creating opportunities for this discussion. Through role-play, practice applying new knowledge and skills is provided and also helps to decrease any anxieties regarding talking to your child about sex. Best practices to approach sexual communication in developmentally appropriate ways are acquired, as well as tools to help build a foundation for healthy sexual communication in your family! All of which make talking about sex with your child much easier!
Materials Provided After Each Session in BOTH Workshops:
- Take-Home Packets: Notes of key information discussed in each session, tips to keep in mind between sessions, exercises to practice, and helpful resources (websites, books, CFEC information) for you to access as needed
- Home Links: Describes a task for you to accomplish with your child before we meet for the next session
Additional Services Offered Throughout BOTH Workshops:
- Email Listserv Membership: Provides additional resources & newsletters
- Private Facebook Group: Offers continued discussion and support, ability to ask Erica any questions that arise, and way to assess progress of applying knowledge and skills obtained during sessions at home

Target Age: Program created for children age’s 3-5 & adults ages 30-55
Cost Per Parent (applicable for BOTH Workshop Options): $30 for one session OR $80 for all 4 sessions (discounted at $20 per session for ONE workshop) OR $120 for all 8 sessions (discounted at $15 per session for both workshops)
Payment Methods: Register on Eventbrite where PayPal payments (all options are listed to choose from) are required at time of registration
Registration Deadlines: 2 weeks prior to sessions date (if paying per session). Other cost options pay up front, so no deadline.
