Slimming that post-baby belly!

After I gave birth to my first baby I was shocked at how much my body really did change and had no idea where to start to get my pre-pregnancy body back. I had heard from some people that, given time, I would be able to fit in all my old clothes again. For some people this happens easier than others, for me it wasn’t so easy and when Luke turned 1 year old I had to really start working at getting back into shape. I started running and that was a great outlet for me and signing up for my first 5k and 10k was great motivation!

This time around I have been determined to do things a little differently and started looking into products that would help me get my shape back a little quicker! The number one thing I would recommend for anyone giving birth is the Belly Bandit. I cannot believe the difference this made for me. After wearing this for less than a week I was in awe of the difference! Within a couple weeks I had my flat stomach back and I remember waking up in the middle of the night to feed Emma only to do double take in the mirror lifting my shirt up because I just couldn’t believe how much the Belly Bandit helped get me back into shape! The first week I would have to turn the light on (and wake Julian up!) and jump for joy because I just couldn’t believe the changes, thanks to the Belly Bandit! You really do have to see it to believe it!

After my first pregnancy it took well over a year to get even close to the results I’ve seen with the Belly Bandit in just a few weeks! My only gripe was that it wasn’t always comfortable to wear, and I had the softest one made out of bamboo fabric. At times I would tear it off just because it would move a little and was annoying to me while trying to get comfortable nursing a newborn. I don’t even wear a watch so having anything strapped on me just isn’t comfortable BUT totally worth it for the results so I usually didn’t mind wearing it because I had an almost immediate payoff for wearing the Belly Bandit. The above After picture was taken just a couple weeks after I started wearing the Belly Bandit. I wore it home from the hospital the day after having Emma and wore it around the clock…except at night, but I hear plenty of Mamas say they wear it at night too.
