What a week! Jen and I were able to take last week off from blogging since I had our beautiful baby girl, who we named Emma Grace O’Donnell. She was born on October 5th at 3:32pm, weighed 8lbs 6ozs, 20.5 inches long and it was another LONG labor of 36 hours! Thankfully, it was a completely different experience than Luke and I didn’t have all the same interventions that I had with him and I have to say that even though it was a marathon the delivery went smoothly and Dr. Froehlich is amazing. We used coconut oil for perineal massage and I had very minimal tearing so recovery this time around has been a breeze! Emma has been nursing like a champ and we are starting to get in a great new routine as a family. I honestly can’t believe how much easier all this is the second time around and how great I feel! It feels SO good not to be pregnant, she was 10 days late in the end and after waiting and waiting I am so happy cute little Emma is now here! Enjoy the pictures!
