Time for Music!

We’ve talked in the past about how much we enjoy taking the boys to Music classes at The West Chester Academy of Music and Dance. We take a Friday Music Pups class and LOVE our teacher, Miss Analicia!  Here’s a little more about her:

Analicia Perkins took voice lessons for 6 years as well as Tap, Jazz and Dance for 10 years. She was a member of the Award Winning Fairfield Choraliers. Analicia competed in the Fine Arts program at church with voice solo and Group along with Human Video solo, and duet and Group during her high school years. While attending Lee University in Cleveland TN, she was a member of Ladies of Lee, a traveling ministry choir. Analicia is currently a singer on her church worship team and frequently sings solos in weddings and other special events. For the past 6 years she has worked with pre-school and school age children. She is excited to be using her music talent and love for children here at the academy. -WCAOMAD

Her energy really helps make the class so much fun! If you’ve never been, be sure to try it out (FREE!) and we’re sure once you go you’ll be hooked! I love that they give you the music CD that they do in class to listen to at home and it’s been a lot of fun hearing Luke sing his favorite songs around the house. We just finished our last class today for this semester and they are starting a new semester, The Bear Collection, the first week of January! So if you’re looking for a great inside activity to do with the kids that’s fun during the winter months this is a great class that we highly recommend!
