I don’t know how many times we, as women and mothers, talk about needing more time. We are so busy taking care of everyone else that we put ourselves last most of the time. If you know me, I love make-up and fashion and NEVER would I have thought I would leave the house without being all dolled up. Well, I became a mom and, YES, there have been too many times to count that I have left the house in my gym shoes, with a hat on, no shower, hair in a pony tail, no make-up… the list goes on. Needless to say, things change, BUT that doesn’t mean we have to give up all the things we love or need to do for ourselves and our health.
One thing we should all do is exercise. We know it is good for us, but how do we find the time?! I found Stroller Strong– a wonderful workout (it really kicks butt!) that you can do WITH your kids!!! H-E-L-L-O! You can spend time with your kids (not having to find a sitter), get a great workout, socialize with other moms who motivate you towards healthy living, socialize the kids, and you are getting all of this while being able to show your kids that exercising can be a part of every day life and so good for you! Stroller Strong is local to cincy, near the Hyde Park area and your first class is FREE (so you have no excuse)! You really should give it a try, it is a ton of fun! I have been SO bummed because I haven’t been able to make it since the move- it is just a little too far for me :(
