We have been trying to sell our house for almost a year now… yup a year! Although I love my house and I don’t want to complain, we have lived at our house for over 6 years now and I am ready for a change. Really, this was our “we will be here for a year and then move into the house we really want” house and you can see how well that went for us :) Everything has really worked out for us though because this house has taught us what we would really need in a house (vs. just what we want) and how to budget our money and surely that the next house we buy will be accomodating for our family and not the mansion I use to dream of :) We defininetly don’t want to be house poor so honestly it has been great to live here first so that we can learn all these little lessons first… ask me the same thing six years ago and I would have said that I am buying the house of my dreams and I don’t care how many pennies we have to pinch or if we never get to have a vacation.. I want what I want! Boy, how time and life changes things!
So with all that happy talk being said… over the last year I have dreamt of the things I do really want in a house (things we don’t have here) and one thing I REALLY want in the next house we buy is a space for an office! Yeah, I know, I don’t work, but I dream of having beautiful, luxurious office furniture with gorgeous bookshelves all around the room for all my books (that I don’t have) and a nice comfy chair…..
O.k., O.k. I know! Come back to reality :) All joking aside, I cannot wait to have an “office space” that I can keep all my paperwork, binders and all those officey things in so everything is in one spot! I do have some OCD for sure and I love being organized and having my own “office” would be a dream! One day right?! I will keep you posted!

I dream of having an actual laundry room – not in the basement or a mud room… I also would like a bigger kitchen… and to live in a nieghborhood with side walks and other kids… and a fenced in yard, oh and a 2 or preferrably 3 car garage :) That's all :) Yeah I checked our ticket and we didn't win the lottery today… but hey like you said… a girl can dream!
OMG! You are so funny! If I knew we were including our laundry list I would have wrote ALOT more!! I have been feeling so unorganized lately with all the construction that this was my main thought… to get organized! And YES- a girl can dream :)
I'd love to have a craft/art room. A really organized and awesome craft room!
